Understanding our Commission Structure
There is no standard market commission rate. Commissions and types of service may vary by firm and are negotiable based on the firm you hire. At Benefit Realty, our minimum listing side commission is 1.5% of the sale price of the property, or $2250. Whichever is more.
Compensation to others may be offered to firms acting as subagents and firms representing buyers as incentive to participate in the sale of firms’ listings through MLS or in compensation agreements.
When we offer a 3.9% Full Service Listing, our minimum listing side commission is 1.5% of that total. Sellers have the option of offering compensation to cooperating firms in their sale. This compensation amount is determined by you, the seller.
